Butterball Hiring for Talent Management Advisor – Ozark at Ozark, AR Full Time

Talent Management at Butterball is focused on ensuring sustainable talent management practices and pipelines that deliver our strategic objectives. Our talent development programs enable us to develop our current team members and ensure we have ready talent for critical roles, at all levels, of our organization.

The Onsite Talent Management Advisor collaboratively develops, enables and optimizes talent management programs and practices at our sites. The role will be responsible for:

• Drive execution of talent management programs and processes including talent assessments, competency calibration, individual development plans (IDPs) and performance management at our sites.
• Partner with site leadership annually to refresh and update the application of our talent management framework including competency reselection, talent assessments, 9-box calibration, succession planning and IDPs as required.
• Focused on site leadership capability to develop talent which would include coaching, career opportunities and competency development.
• Accelerate the development of internal talent to prepare them for critical roles with deliberate and clear development plans.
• Ensure the system for identifying talent for short term plant needs is updated and working efficiently including metrics on demand.
• Utilizes current technology platforms (Microsoft Teams, Korn Ferry Talent Hub, Gartner) and influence the design of future technology/systems to support individual development planning process.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership for assigned sites: discuss and identify training and development needs and participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs by following up with training participants and managers to ensure training objectives are met and applied.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS/BA in Business Administration, Human Resources, Training and Development, Psychology, Organizational Psychology or related discipline; or equivalent experience as equal or greater than 1-2 years in an HR-related field.
• Demonstrated personal drive and sense of urgency pushing self for results; delivers on results despite obstacles.
• Analyze data to glean key insights, determine and synthesize into programs.
• With experience in the following areas:
• Competency and talent development models
• Partnering with a diverse set of collaborators and resources as required to enable the successful development and deployment of programs across sites.
• Communication skills and presence, able to cultivate authentic and long-lasting relationships.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Meaningful industry experience including manufacturing, agribusiness, food, and/or consumer packaged goods.
• Understanding and familiarity with best-in-class talent management programs, approaches, and vendors.
• Experience working with enabling technologies and productivity tools, Project Management Systems, Teams, Word, Excel, Talent Management Systems, PowerPoint.
