Plastec USA Inc Hiring for Logistics Manager at Miami, FL Full Time

Plastec USA/Globeius are both growing distributor businesses that have pride themselves in being a leader in the supply and distribution of products and services to the Plastics Industry in North and South America. Our Parent company Plastec has been successfully operating for close to 40 years and Globeius for 18 years.

Our companies currently have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager at our headquarters in Miami, Florida. The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing our domestic and global shipments.

Key responsibilities:

· Supervise and coordinate shipping and warehousing operations at our Miami site.

· Coordinate with all relevant parties (our global teams, courier companies, customers, and regulatory authorities) to ensure smooth import/export, receipt, handling, storage, and outbound shipping of our products.

· Coordinate with our global teams to solve abnormal shipping issues in a timely manner.

· Establish and continuously improve Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) of our logistics work.

· Recruit, train and supervise staff members to ensure that they run operations according to SOPs.

· Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) of our logistics and warehouse operations and achieve KPI goals.

· Establish, follow, and enforce safety standards and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

· 3-5 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related areas

· Familiar with international shipment of various materials

· Knowledge of SED (Shipper’s Export Declarations)

· Experience in handling with common couriers and customs preferred

· Strong capabilities in troubleshooting and problem-solving

· Independent, reliable, responsible, collaborative, good judgement

Fluent in English and Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
