Logistics Coordinator

Granules is a rapidly growing pharmaceutical distributor in the US and Canada, specializes in Granulated & OTC products. Our company seeks a full time Logistics Coordinator for our Manassas, VA office. The individual will be the main point of contact for our Customers, Warehouse & Carriers.

Full Job Description:

A Logistics Coordinator facilitates communication between supply chain, production, sales, transportation, warehousing and distribution stages to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain Distribution.

• Manage customer accounts, including order-to-ship and freight pay processes.

• Customer liaison with shippers and carriers to monitor TMS compliance and drive performance metrics (OTIF).
• Schedule all inbound & outbound appointments & review warehouse documentations of Inbound and outbound shipments to ensure shipping orders in full without mishap or shortages
• Respond to customer/shipper/consignee inquiries and provide updates in a timely manner.
• Process customer returns and claims
• Manage exceptions, implement solutions, and enforce corrective actions.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities, develop document processes, and ensure operational sustainability.
• Ensure that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
• Business ing and analytics

Logistics Coordinator will to the Logistics Manager

Requirements:

Minimum requirements

3 + years of experience working in the logistics field

Logistics Certificates are welcomed

Preferably familiar with cGMP requirements & worked in the Pharma industry

Preferred Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving and Creative thinking skills
• Detailed Oriented
• Working knowledge of the consumer goods industry
• Experience working in Pharmaceutical Industry (Preferred)
• Excellent computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with ERP (SAP), preferred
• Experience in project management and business analytics a plus.
