Full Job Description
Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse:
- Administers and documents medications
- Provides treatments to a specified number of residents within the acceptable time frame
- Demonstrates knowledge of medications, actions, dosing, adverse reactions, and contraindications
- Assists Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must meet the training and certification qualifications as specified by the Health Facilities Division of the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals and provide verification of certification
- COVID-19 vaccination required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable
