Snapient Inc has an immediate opening for a JUNIOR SOFTWARE to join a high-performing Agile team, delivering a public-facing, mission-essential, cyber-oriented Internet presence for our end client.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting evaluation of software systems activities including requirements, design, development, documentation, integration, test, verification and validation.
• Defining appropriate measures to ensure product quality.
• Developing overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives.
• Work expertise in a variety of software QA concepts, practices, and procedures
• Write and maintain test plans, test cases, and test processes
• Conduct manual functional testing, regression testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing
• Interact with developers and management to track and issues from discovery to resolution
• Follow up on defects and regression testing to improve product quality and provide input on factors that influence product excellence
• Manage and on testing activities in JIRA and Confluence

• Education: Bachelors / Masters with any Testing Certification preferred.
