Responsibilities:
- Answer telephones and provide excellent customer service to our professional staff and insurance representatives
- Run and utilize computer s regularly
- Provide accurate, complete updates to Agency management on status of authorizations for all patients requiring treatment authorization
- Obtain and track authorization for all patients for whom their insurance requires pre-authorization
- Clearly document all authorization requests
- Communicate with multiple disciplines
- Notify Supervisor of problems in a timely manner and work to help provide solutions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Excellent phone and Customer Service Skills
- Experience in dealing with insurance companies
