THE POSITION
The Lowell School District is seeking an outstanding, highly qualified Title I teacher for Lundy Elementary School.
ASSIGNMENT
This person will coordinate all aspects of the District’s Title I program and will serve as the teacher for the program.
DUTIES
1. Conduct needs assessments and staff and community meetings to determine needs and priorities of Title I
program.
2. Prepare all Title I budgets, needs assessments, and s. Submit to ODE in accordance with mandated
deadlines.
3. Help with District’s standardized testing and state assessment programs.
4. Administer individual testing to help determine student Title I eligibility and annual academic progress.
5. Direct the work, and assist the principal in the evaluation, of all Title I personnel.
6. Provide appropriate learning activities for Title I eligible students, as needed, in academic areas targeted for
Title I assistance.
7. Work with regular education and special education teaching staff and parents to plan and implement
individualized programs for students. Attend relevant meetings as needed.
8. student progress to teachers and parents regularly.
9. Make timely and accurate s as may be required by the Oregon Department of Education.
10. Respect and enforce the adopted District Policies and Administrative Rules.
11. Accept other responsibilities that may be assigned by District administration.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Valid Oregon Teaching Certificate
2. Reading Endorsement K-12
MINIMUM TERM OF EMPLOYMENT
- Will be determined by terms of the current negotiated agreement.
SALARY
- Will be determined by terms of the current negotiated agreement.
- The amount due under the contract will be pro-rated monthly in accordance with district policy.
EVALUATION
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
