The ideal candidate will support the growth of a major health system by assisting the in‐house Physician Recruiter with the logistics of the recruitment process to result in the successful placement of physician candidates. While supporting the work of the department by finding qualified candidates through active and passive methods
Experience:
Minimum High School diploma with at least 3 years related experience required, Associate degree with equivalent preferred
Previous health, sales, marketing, or recruiting background is preferred with specific knowledge of the medical/physician community.
Strong organizational skills a must.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization. Demonstrate a professional and adaptable demeanor with internal and external clients, including administrators, physicians, peers, and support staff.
Exhibit a high energy level, and demonstrate the ability to work as a team, with flexibility in work habits to schedule and meet the needs of the department.
Proven track record of exceptional customer service skills.
Essential Functions:
Develops and maintains working knowledge of the health system and regional communities to assist with candidate inquiries.
Directly source candidates from candidate databases
Prepare all materials, including registrations for conferences
Assembles and distributes all collateral materials for physician recruitment.
Assists the in‐house physician recruiter with the facilitation of the site visit for the physician candidate and spouse/significant other. This may include but is not limited to planning for travel, lodging, meals, and welcome gift, developing itineraries for physician and spouse and providing transportation, as needed.
Works with the in‐house physician recruiter to develop a comprehensive candidate itinerary
Gives facility tour and escort candidates throughout day as needed
Updates Applicant Tracking System (KI) when contract is received
Assist in‐house recruiter with candidate interview process, as needed to include telephone coordination and confirmation with both the candidate and the client.
Assists with candidate reimbursement process for incidental expenses incurred by candidate or spouse.
Participates in other duties and responsibilities as assigned to recruit and retain physicians.
Screens candidates against requirements
Work with Director and Marketing Specialist to maintain open positions on job boards
