Overview:

Storagenergy is an R&D Company working to develop and commercialize next-generation technologies for electrochemical energy storage and power generation. We are currently seeking an R&D Engineer to join our Battery Team to contribute to early- and mid-stage R&D projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong science/engineering background and industrial experience that is applicable to a wide range of electrochemistry-related projects.

Job Description:

• This full-time position needs a team-oriented Engineer with hands-on mentality to provide engineering support for the development and manufacturing of new and existing products to help meet project milestones
• Performs complex technical work such design, evaluation, documentation, and improvement of products, manufacturing methods, and test fixtures
• Maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, and repair of laboratory equipment
• Maintain a detail lab notebook with careful records or materials and processing conditions
• Balance priorities and deadlines across multiple projects to provide timely results
• Responsible for tracking inventory of the consumable goods and re-ordering when necessary

Desired Qualifications / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or related fields
• US citizen or Permanent resident
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Experience working in a laboratory setting
• Strong work-ethic and is driven to achieve and succeed
