JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review and evaluate requests for quotation
Review costs and quotations for completeness and accuracy.
Review construction documents and understand scope of work to bid.
Execute take-offs of construction documents.
Input take-off data into spreadsheets
Prepare project cost estimates from the client’s RFQ documents and drawings and any other information learned during the bid process.
Maintain cost estimating tools including databases, spreadsheets, and other computer-based applications to keep updated information on past performance and industry standards.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers
Responsible for order accuracy, ordering, and timeliness

Compensation:

Experience Requirements

Experience in the construction industry preferred / building materials industry
Flexibility to effectively deal with changing priorities and timelines through analytical problem-solving.
Able to work independently and in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
Displays superior written and oral communication skills.
Advanced literacy in computers is required.
