CORE Psychiatric & Psychological Services Hiring for Medical Transcriptionist at DuBois, PA Full Time

JOB SUMMARY:

The Medical Transcriptionist is responsible for transcribing and interpreting the dictation of the Psychiatrist/CRNP and certain clinical duties under the supervision of the Medical Director.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following. Other assignments, projects, and duties may be required:

1. Will listen to the recorded dictation of doctor/CRNP and transcribe.

2. Translate medical abbreviations into appropriate long form.

3. Ensure that the transcription is correct, complete, and in a consistent style.

4. Follow confidentiality guidelines.

5. Follow up with Psychiatrist/CRNP to ensure accuracy of transcription.

6. Other Duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is a required. Candidate must possess 2-3 years of experience in an office environment preferably a mental health provider or medical facility. Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
