Infoway solutions LLC Hiring for Surgery Scheduler |S at Seattle, WA Full Time

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Prep surgery charts in a specific order that the Doctor prefers.
• Call the insurance company for authorization, if needed.
• Complete insurance referrals – load into epic, transfer to doctor’s sx log.
• Phones – (Genesis for incoming patient calls)
• Respond to emails from outpatient facilities.
• Collect payments for upgraded lens.
• Print surgery packets/labels.
• Call patients for H&P’s, if needed.
• Schedule cataract consults. (Make sure insurance is accepted by SSC first)
• Schedule surgery dates/follow ups.
• Handle in basket messages.
• Order eye cornea tissue a week before sx date, if needed.
• Follow up on patients who have yet to schedule sx.
• Make sure everything on the SSC checklist is done before you bag the surgeries up to walk over to SSC.
