Job Duties:

• Using provided equipment to repair glass by removing scratches from glass

• Maintaining and servicing equipment in a satisfactory manner

• Interacting with clients in a friendly, professional manner

• Adhering to all safety regulations

• Following company guidelines

• Ability to repair and install all types of glass including boat glass

• Inform management when product is required, and which product is to be reported

• Risk assessment of glass being worked on

• Safety assessment of jobsite

Skills Requirements including Education and Work Experience:

• Detail oriented individual

• Comfortable working outdoors and being on your feet for 8+ hours

• Experience with power tools

• 5+ years’ experience using glass grinding/polishing tools – specifically to remove scratches from glass

• High School Diploma

• Completion of 2 to 4-year apprenticeship program in relevant trade or college, high school or industry courses combined with several years of related work experience or several years of on the job training are required
• Valid swing stage operating license for this job

• 5+ years’ experience in working at heights of 20 stories or more

• Knowledge, experience and understanding the different grits of diamond back abrasives

• Knowledge and experience with all types of glass and their surfaces

• Knowledge and experience how to fix distortion in glass

• Knowledge and experience with removing hard water stains from glass without scratching surface

• Window cleaning experience

• Knowledge and experience working on boat glass

• Knowledge and experience working on car windshields

• Knowledge and experience working with graffiti film

• Knowledge and experience identifying tempered and non-tempered glass

Salary: $31.00-$38.00 per hour
