The ideal candidate will have exceptional hospitality skills and the ability to work with a team. The Front Office Agent will directly to the Front Office Manager. This position has the goal to exceed the guests’ expectations in the guest experience.

Summary

Hang Ten Hospitality is hiring for a year-round or seasonal Front Office Agents to join our Hotel team. Front Office Agents are responsible for the highest levels of service for all guests throughout their stay from time of booking to departure.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Check guests in and out upon arrival/departure

· Provide information to guests about hotel policies, services and amenities

· Sell/upsell rooms to ‘walk-in’ guests

· Entering/changing reservation information on the computer system

· Post charges to guest accounts

· Process payments from guests

· Close, balance, and make necessary corrections to guest accounts

· Complete various computer audit s (refer to checklist)

· Perform all duties as outlined in training manual

· Listen for/anticipate guest complaints and respond appropriately

· Answer phones

· Maintain daily logs

· Develop thorough understanding of all 3 front desk shifts including Audit

· Any other duties assigned as needed

Physical Demands

The employee is required to be on their feet for long periods of time and able to lift and or move heavy objects up to 50-pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

Work Environment

The employee must have the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with above normal temperatures.

Pay: $16.00 – $23.00 per hour
