FleetOptics Inc is Looking for Delivery Driver Full Time

Title: Owner Operator Delivery Driver, Independent Contractor
Reports To: Dispatcher
Territory: Montreal, QC
Status: Full-time or Part-Time Independent Contractor

Position Summary:

FleetOptics is looking for full-time owner-operators in possession of a Cargo Van or a Minivan. You will be delivering small packages in Montreal and the surrounding area. The ideal candidate will be flexible with working hours, physically capable, comfortable with navigating a smartphone handheld and most importantly exhibit safe driving practices at all times. Additionally, other tasks involved with the role include completing pre-and post-trip inspections, documenting daily mileage, gas usage, etc.

Job Duties and Responsibilities;

• Complete deliveries within specified time frames
• Loading and unloading parcels into the vehicle
• Assist other drivers as needed
• Complete daily pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections

Skills required;

• Excellent customer service and attention to detail
• Comfortable working 10-12 hours per day
• Time management and organizational skills
• Able to adapt to a dynamic work environment
• Able to effectively navigate in highly congested traffic areas
• Competent using a smartphone device
• Flexible with scheduling; weekend work will be required

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Class 5 Quebec License
• Clean criminal background
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Access to an email address
• Possess a smartphone
• Previous courier experience is an asset

Salary: $150.00-$290.00 per day

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
