Summary:
This position is in our Everett, WA facility.
This position requires a professional capable of participating in selecting tooling, gaging, and developing processes to ensure parts are manufactured on time with the highest quality by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
¨ Self-manage short and long term projects, including interacting with internal department and vendors
¨ Design manufacturing processes based on existing stable processes
¨ Identify and implement contractual flow down requirements
¨ Identify potential improvements with impact analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives
¨ Design and maintain characteristic accountability plans for legacy and new products
¨ Design work holding for manufacturing and test applications
¨ Generate clear and concise standard work instructions
¨ Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all levels of the organization
Requirements:
¨ BSME or similar educational background
¨ Experience/Interest in conventional & non-conventional machining, chemical processing, non-destructive testing, and heat treatment preferred
¨ Must be an independent learner, able to perform value-added research & investigation
¨ Excellent communication and follow-up skills
¨ Working knowledge of quality systems and control plans
¨ High level of analytical ability
¨ Capable of becoming a strong individual contributor
¨ Proficiency with CAD systems, Siemens NX preferred
Other Qualification:
¨ Due to ITAR regulations must be a U.S. Person
Language, Math, and Reasoning Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, set-up sheets, travelers, procedure manuals, and government regulations.
Possess a strong geometric/trigonometric mathematical understanding.
Computer Skills:
Must be able to use the computer and computer software as required by the job. Must be proficient in MS Office applications. Basic understanding of code (VBA, C#, C++, etc.) is preferred
