Full Job Description

  • Creating and issuing purchase orders for the organization correctly and timely.
  • Acts as the primary procurement agent for the organization.
  • Buyer is an expert user of the organization’s MMIS system
  • Assists with invoice discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of the Materials Management storeroom at all times.
  • Assists with delivers supplies to requesting departments in a timely manner.
  • Assists with or serves as backup to the job functions of the Materials Management Technician
  • Monitor existing purchase orders to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Identifies and communicates with manager when supplies are backordered to ensure internal customer expectations are met.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour

  • Purchasing: 3 years (Required)

  • Capital Purchases: 3 years (Required)
