Culvers Lawn & Landscape, Inc Hiring for Landscape Designer/Sales at Marion, IA Full Time

Culver’s is a collaborative award-winning design/build landscape company who is excited to add to our expanding design team. We are looking for a creative professional with experience in landscape design.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective clients, listen well and propose designs that reflect clients goals.
• Producing plans and construction documents in FX CAD.
• Use supporting design programs to further your designs (SketchUp, Adobe Software etc.). Training in these programs is available.
• Present landscape plans in a one-on-one environment with clients.
• Sell landscape projects for our construction crews to install.
• Create project proposals/estimates with support staff assistance.
• Establish and maintain client relationships responding to calls and e-mails upholding the highest level of customer service.
• Organize and complete your own design workflow with the assistance of our office manager and other support staff as needed.

Requirements

• A degree in Landscape Design or Landscape Architecture or a minimum of 1 season of Landscape Design and Sales specific experience
• Experience in a CAD based program (Dynascape, AutoCAD, Vectorworks etc.)
• Local plant knowledge of shrubs, trees and perennials.
• Collaborate with sub-contractors, vendors and Culver’s employees of other disciplines daily.
• Effectively communicate drawings and ideas with clients.
• Exceptional sales ability.
• Self-starter who is committed to producing high quality designs both aesthetically and functionally.
