Grandview Family Medicine (Provo) Hiring for Medical Assistant (Part-Time) at Provo, UT Full Time

Available Shift:

• Tuesday, Thursday and every other Friday, 1 pm – 8 pm

We are seeking a part-time medical assistant to work at our family medicine clinic in Provo. Grandview Family Medicine takes care of the whole family, from newborns to adults. We are looking for a medical assistant who is friendly, professional, reliable, self-motivated and loves to take care of the patient.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination or procedures
• Take patient’s history and vital signs
• Prepare exam rooms
• Document using an EHR system
• Give injections and draw blood
• Assist with in-office procedures
• Prepare and maintain supplies and instruments
• Handle triage calls, scheduling, and follow up with other physician offices
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduation from a Medical Assisting Program is preferred
• One year or more experience as a medical assistant with a physician clinic is a plus
• Experience CNAs are invited to apply
