Overview

Under the direction of the CPO and Vice President of Human Resources, designs and implements strategies and processes to proactively build and maintain a talent pipeline for SLFCU. Manages the recruitment process, from sourcing to hiring, managing a recruiting team to identify high-potential candidates. Oversees executive searches and partners with headhunters and agencies to identify and hire diverse candidates for all positions. Understands and evaluates future human capital trends and organizational needs and incorporates them into forward-looking solutions.

Job Duties:

• Oversees full life cycle recruiting for all positions across the credit union
• Builds talent pipelines for current and future job openings
• Manages external partnerships with colleges, job boards and HR software vendors
• Ensures effective employer branding activities and partners with SLFCU Marketing
• Prepares and reviews annual recruitment budget
• Oversees all stages of candidate experience (including application, interviews and communication)
• Partners with Organizational Development to provide an effective Employee Orientation experience for new employees
• Forecasts hiring needs based on business growth plans
• Manages, trains and evaluates recruiters
• Participates in and hosts recruitment events to drive awareness of SLFCU
• Oversees, interprets and develops key recruitment metrics and KPIs

• Consults with leadership to define and understand their needs; develops a plan to attract and recruit and deliver innovative and efficient hiring solutions

• Maximizes direct sourcing efforts through Linkedin, referrals, job boards, other web-based sources and various other channels to find the best qualified candidates
• Monitors recruitment progress, set hiring priorities and track recruiting activity data
• Continuously refines hiring processes that produce high quality candidates at speed
• Implements best practice recruitment services and drive talent acquisition strategies to support growth
• Manages vendors and leverage search firms; build relationships with agencies and specialized headhunters for both contingent and retained searches
• Oversees the SLFCU student internship program
• Uses a variety of tools and resources to effectively source and evaluate talent
• Creates strong professional networks, attends virtual networking events and partners with educational institutions for diverse talent pools
• Stays abreast of competitive industry information and business intel

Requirements:

Experience and Knowledge:

• At least 8+ years of full lifecycle recruiting, credit union experience a plus
• Financial services, credit unions, contact center and retail specialization helpful
• Successful track record of hiring positions across various functions
• Prior success in running recruitment efforts; high volume rapid hiring experience beneficial
• Prior usage with various ATS systems and recruiting tools
• Experience with diversity recruiting and able to create a pipeline of diverse candidates

Education:

• Bachelor’s or four-year college degree in Business or a related field, or relevant experience equivalent to a four-year degree.
• Certifications in Human Resources, Certified Social Sourcing preferred.
