JOB OVERVIEW

CDChoices is seeking a versatile software engineer to join their team and play a key role in overseeing the development of a fast growing software product. The ideal candidate should possess the skills to craft scalable code, manipulate data with ease, and emerge as the driving force behind the product.

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who are able to bridge the gap between business and technology teams. A successful candidate has the potential to advance into a Product Owner position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop responsive web solutions to improve user experience
• Build and secure Restful APIs
• Work with external stakeholders to understand and fulfill business requirements and end user needs
• Manipulate and visualize data
• Analyze code and communicate detailed reviews to development teams
• Collaborate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, policy, procedures, and security

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in modern javascript frontend frameworks (React)
• Experience with Typescript and Node.js
• Bachelor degree preferred in relevant field (Computer Science, Information Systems etc.)
• Demonstrated experience with Agile software delivery including Scrum, Kanban and/or hybrid framework implementations
• Experience manipulating, transforming and visualizing data in a relational database (PostgreSQL,PowerBI, Tableau)
• Skilled at breaking down problems, building consensus, and setting direction in the face of uncertainty
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving ability

SKILLS/TECHNOLOGIES THAT ARE A MAJOR +:

• Experience with AWS
• Product Owner experience
• Experience working in the healthcare industry

WORK LOCATION

• Albany, NY
• This role will start onsite but there will be flexibility to move to a hybrid schedule
