The Recovery Match is a Toronto-based holistic healthcare platform founded by Diarra Sakho, a new immigrant with a passion for making coaching and therapy accessible to everyone. Our startup was created in a world post-pandemic where mental health is at its worst, and we believe that now more than ever, people need access to high-quality care.

Our mission:

At The Recovery Match, we are on a mission to transform healthcare through our innovative holistic care platform. As a startup company, we are committed to providing accessible therapy and coaching services to individuals seeking a more balanced and fulfilling life.

As a life coach, you will work closely with clients to understand their unique goals and challenges, identify resources and roadblocks, and co-create actionable plans to help them achieve their objectives. Regular progress evaluations and ongoing collaboration will be essential to this role.

Services we provide:

• 1-1 coaching and therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each individual client
• Group program memberships for clients who prefer a community-based approach to healing and growth
• Online courses for clients who want to learn and implement new skills and strategies on their own time and at their own pace

Requirements:

• We require strong communication skills in English, and the ability to speak additional languages is a valuable asset as we serve clients from around the world.
• Able to participate or bi-weekly in-person team meetings that will take place in Toronto
• Certified life coach with a proven track record of success (ex: case studies)

Responsibilities:

• Gain a deep understanding of clients’ needs and tailor coaching strategies to meet those needs
• Facilitate ongoing discussions to identify and refine clients’ goals
• Identify and address internal and external obstacles that may impede progress
• Provide clients with effective emotional and behavioral regulation techniques
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized action plans focused on achieving their desired outcomes
• Evaluate clients’ progress and make adjustments to the coaching plan as needed
• Provide ongoing encouragement and support to help clients maintain momentum and achieve sustainable progress
• Guide clients through their transformational journey with compassion and empathy

• Flexible, online work: This is a freelance, online position that allows you to work from the comfort of your own home at your own pace. We handle all administrative tasks and provide ongoing support to help you succeed.
• Competitive compensation: We offer a 60/40 split with our team members, ensuring that you are fairly compensated for your hard work and dedication to our mission.

As a freelance life coach at The Recovery Match, you will be compensated through a 60/40 revenue-sharing model. You will receive 60% of the revenue generated from coaching sessions with clients, while the remaining 40% will be allocated towards platform development and maintenance.
