LobePro Rotary Pumps Hiring for Mechanical Engineer for a Rotary Lobe Pump Company at Brunswick, GA Full Time

LobePro is a rotary lobe pump manufacturer who is seeking an individual to join our engineering department who would bring with them the ability to discuss applications and the technical aspects of various pump system processes with our customers. A main focus of LobePro is being able to offer exceptional customer service with competent personnel who understand and can discuss a customer’s application and provide recommendations for pumps and systems that will meet the process requirements and provide lasting solutions for the end users.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, along with experience working with rotating equipment in various applications.
• Proficiency in positive displacement pump design and operation including hydraulics calculations.
• Proficiency with materials and industry standards – i.e. ANSI, API, SAE, Hydraulic Institute, ASME, etc.
• Ability to implement a control system that results in drawings and specs which are timely, accurate, clear, efficient to manufacture and integrate with the manufacturing information system. Drawings are done in Solid Edge.
• Experience issuing bills of material and assembly instructions that are clear and easy to use.
• Ability to oversee development of online instructions that document best practices for use, maintenance, and repair of pumps.
• Ability to prioritize R&D projects to assure they are important to product quality and development, well designed, and have clear and timely results.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a team oriented attitude.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally on occasion.

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience starting in the $60,000 – $75,000 range including a good benefits package. LobePro is DFW / EOE.
