As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist Full Time in West Norriton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a busy retail location, where you will patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor customer and visitor activity, assist with access and crowd control needs, and help to deter theft, disorderly conduct, and/or other security-related concerns.
• Support closing and opening routines, observe high-traffic areas, and communicate with store personnel regarding security-related issues, hazards, and/or response needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
