Hofmann Trucking, LLC has an immediate full-time opening for a Logistics Coordinator working out of our office in Fargo, ND.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The primary function of a Logistics Coordinator is organizing and coordinating the customer loads on company asset trucks as well as brokerage trucks. This individual will be responsible for efficient load coordination with the driver and customer to ensure on-time loading and delivery of customer loads. Successful candidate must be able to adapt to a fast pace, ever changing situations with drivers and equipment with customer satisfaction being number one.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Order taking and entry of new loads in TMS system.● Tracking and monitoring of loads en-route.● Efficiently coordinate loads with asset and broker trucks to ensure on-time loading and delivery of customer loads.
● Onboarding of Broker Trucks and Carriers.● Efficiently coordinate loads with asset trucks and available broker trucks.● Quick thinking and able to resolve issues with the best possible positive outcome.● Excellent communication skills with dispatchers, customers, drivers and broker carriers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
● Truck load dispatch or equivalent work experience. Training available for the right candidate.● Strong customer service skills.● Proficiency with MS office and ability to learn TMS system.● Ability to execute a vision, manages multiple priorities, and achieves results.● Outgoing personality with expertise at building developing relationships with drivers, carriers and customers.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
● Must be able to sit and use telephone and computer, simultaneously, for extended periods● Must be able to speak and hear clearly in a high volume telephone environment.
