JOB SUMMARY:
KRONES, Inc. is a customer-oriented, world leader in the design and manufacture of high-speed Packaging Equipment for the beer and beverage industries. Continued growth has provided us with an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual to join our organization. We are currently seeking an aggressive individual for the position of Regional Sales New Machines/LCS to add to our Northeast Territory, which includes VT, DC, NH, ME, DE, CT, RI, NJ, MD. The position s to the VP of Sales for the East Coast Territory. The candidate will develop and implement specific sales strategies for maintaining and expanding the company’s penetrations in the most profitable segments of the market. This position will interface with customer engineering to aid in definition of components required to fulfill customers labeling, filling, packaging, Life Cycle, and/or turnkey requirements. The position will also keep abreast of market conditions, competitive activities and customer needs in order to identify and meet the demands of existing and changing marketing conditions. In addition, responsibilities include review of customer supplied information/samples in the creation of quotations and the completion of orders for wear and change parts items.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum bachelor’s degree preferred. Engineering or technical experience is a plus but not mandatory. Packaging industry experience is essential. Familiarity with packaging equipment that would include filling machines, labelers, packers, blow molders, conveyors, etc. is highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. You must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills who can work consistently in a fast-paced environment. This is a combined Capital Equipment and Lifecycle Sales position that will require an extensive amount of travel in the North East Region of the United States 80% plus. Also requires ability to travel, both domestic and foreign, for Sales training. Candidate will be required to re-locate and reside within the NE territory this position is covering.
