Blue Water Industries Hiring for Plant Operator/Laborer/Maintenance at Goldston, NC Full Time

Blue Water Industries, a growing aggregate producer, is currently seeking to fill a Maintenance/Laborer/Plant Operator position at the Daurity Springs Quarry in Goldston, NC. Quarry Plant Operator/Laborer/Maintenance Position Requirements

· Must have a valid driver’s license.

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work long hours as needed.

· Must be able to climb ladders and steps, bend down, crouch and squat.

· Must be able to do a variety of tasks based upon the daily needs of the plant.

· Must be able to push, pull or lift 60 lbs or more.

· Must follow all safety rules.

· Must be able to work in various weather conditions.

· Responsible for supporting production and maintenance as required in a heavy industrial setting.

· Operate plant equipment to ensure a proper flow of materials throughout the plant (i.e. conveyors, chutes, screens, etc.)

· Inspect plant equipment, structures, machinery, and stockpiles on a daily basis.

· Remove clogged materials, assist other plant personnel with maintenance and repair of equipment, and perform clean-up in and around plant with wash out hoses, shovels, and mobile equipment.

· Perform greasing and lubricating of plant equipment per regular schedule.

· Training will be provided as needed.

· Previous mining experience a plus.

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.

· Performs other duties as directed by management.
