EIS Hiring for Buyer at Remote Full Time

Summary:

The Buyer/Planner supports the organization by procurement of materials to ship all orders timely and correctly. Plan, schedule, and monitor the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Provide schedules to the manufacturing floor to achieve customer delivery dates and financial targets.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements
• Determine needed orders from short list
• Work with cost accountant and operations to determine optimal on-hand inventory needed
• Purchase parts for open orders and inventory below minimum levels
• Follow-up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts
• Expedite parts when necessary to ensure timely delivery to customers
• Communication with sales of material purchase costs changes
• Work with operations to schedule production
• Monitor and ing of all departmental schedule attainment
• Monitor and ing of on time delivery
• Communicate with sales of potential delivery impacts to customers
• Complies with all quality policies, specification, regulations, and instructions
• Participate in required meetings and training

Qualifications:

To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with utilizing an ERP system. Education and/or Experience:

3+ years procurement and planning experience (manufacturing environment experience preferred)

Associate’s degree
