Job Description
A bit about this role:
Devoted Medical is building clinical programs to manage and coordinate care in a manner consistent with Devoted’s values of treating every member like family. Medication plays a crucial role in helping people manage chronic conditions, but in many cases effective medication management & adherence is limited by barriers to access, uncoordinated prescribing, or a failure to use the most effective guideline-based medication therapies.
Our teams goal is to ensure that members are taking their medications as prescribed, understanding their prescription benefits, as well as have the resources to obtain their medication. As a manager of the Medication Adherence program, you would be leading a team of pharmacy technicians that play an integral role in connecting members to many of Devoted’s clinical programs supporting them in what they do best- treating our members like family.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Assist with monitoring and oversight of departmental KPIs to ensure high-quality, best in class, compliant operations
  • Establish standardized policies and procedures for workflows and operational processes
  • Provide guidance and coaching on day-to-day technician responsibilities
  • Ensure technicians comply with federal and state regulations
  • Provide quality assurance and feedback for pharmacy technician outreaches
  • Review and determine appropriate next steps on any escalated issues and/or complex case review
  • Assist with hiring and interviewing of pharmacy technician candidates
  • Work with other team leaders to improve the member experience and coordination between other teams
  • Serve as a resource to Devoted Health organization for medication-related inquiries pertaining to formulary tiers, prior authorizations, formulary exceptions, and cost-sharing
  • Collaborate with internal network team and external physician groups
  • Assist with special projects as needed/required
The Manager of Medication Adherence will to the Senior Manager, Medication Adherence at Devoted Medical. The Manager will work in conjunction to support all medication adherence activities within the Clinical Pharmacy team.

Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of healthcare leadership experience preferred
  • Experience caring for Medicare patients and a strong desire to continue to work closely with aging patient populations
  • Experience with pharmacy-related quality assurance (QA) work is strongly preferred
  • Experience in managing employees in a remote environment a plus
  • Fast learner, can pick up new content/industries quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to clearly articulate needs, objectives, priorities, and strategy in writing
  • Proven leadership, agility, and collaboration skills
Salary Range: $78,000 – $90,800 / year
