The Opportunity – General Labourer – Summer Help

Add: The responsibilities in this position vary from day to day and are as follows:

Renovations (Empty Suites)

• Removal of carpets, vinyl tiles, ceiling tiles, drywall partitions, wallpaper, plumbing fixtures
• Loading construction materials (carpets, drywall, doors/frames, ceiling tiles, T-Bars, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, insulation, floor tiles-vinyl & ceramic)
• Loading debris into pick-up truck and off-loading into garbage receptacles

Cleaning / Janitorial

• Vacuuming carpets
• Cleaning sinks, mirrors, toilets, urinals
• Spot cleaning walls, partitions
• Washing T-bars (ceilings)
• Sweep & mop floors
• Clean windows
• Sweeping warehouse floors

Pick-up/Delivery (various)

• Carpets, floor tiles, ceiling tiles, doors, frames

Lot Maintenance

• Garbage pick-up
• Sidewalk and parking lot sweeping

Tree/Shrub Care

• General pruning and deadwood removal
• Shrubs and hedge shaping

Summer Maintenance

• Garden Cultivation
• Weeding
• Fertilizer application with spreader and by hand
• Flower planting
• Flower removal (Fall)

Language

• Fluency in both English and Ukrainian

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• landscaping: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
