The Animal Hospital at Reems Creek Hiring for at Weaverville, NC Full Time

We are seeking a person for this Veterinary Assistant position who exhibits a wide variety of skills. Part of the position entails assisting the veterinarians and veterinary nurses in treating our small animal patients (almost entirely dogs and cats) – the applicant must be comfortable with the handling of animals of varying temperaments. Another part of the job includes interacting with clients in a calm, confident, and professional manner, both in person and on the telephone. Communication and organizational skills must be excellent to be successful at this position! Experienced candidates in the animal health field will be given preference but outstanding inexperienced candidates will be considered. We have a great team that is geared towards providing excellent medical care as well as fantastic customer service – the successful candidate must be motivated by these same goals. Desirable schedule of approximately 9 hours per workday, four days per week, with consistent day off and no weekends, holidays, or nights.

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
