DESCRIPTION:

AKE Safety Equipment is a market-leading fire safety equipment manufacturing and sales company. We are looking for someone who is professional, strategic, and forward-thinking, to fill a Marketing and E-Commerce Manager position in Rochester, MN. We operate on a national scale, targeting customers who farm and reside in agriculturally productive areas of the U.S.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to build and promote brand awareness, online visibility and customer loyalty that will lead to increased company-wide sales
• Analyzes market and industry trends to help identify and capitalize upon trends and opportunities while also seeing potential threats and implementing processes to avoid them
• Interprets analytics to measure and on the success of marketing campaigns
• Determine, develop, and execute online and direct sales and marketing techniques to ensure our customers are provided with the best online experience
• Ability to understand the customer need and to build effective processes to support the needs of the sales and marketing departments
• Administer and monitor websites sales to meet the company’s goals
• Create engaging advertisement campaigns on multiple platforms to ensure a wide variety of customers viewing our product
• Provide ideas for operational and website improvements
• Forecast upcoming trends and customer purchases
• Maintain accurate records and databases
• Assists with process documentation and continuous improvement
• Analyzing and develop mobile apps or products
• Ensure a smooth payment process is established via the website

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Ability to consistently meet deadlines
• BA in a job-related field
• Google Analytics, Shopify
• 5+ year of relevant work experience
• Anticipate a variety of needs and problems and proactively suggest solutions
• Being able to work with apps such as Salesforce
• Strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Adobe
• Detail oriented
• Self-starter with outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Ability to be creative and adaptable when solving challenges to achieve company goals
• Must be able to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment that emphasizes accuracy and timeliness
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to and interact with people in a friendly, professional manner

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience working with computers and latest technology systems including:, Facebook Business Manager, Salesforce and Adobe Photoshop, InDesign
• Knowledge of coding and website development; HDML and CSS
