This is a Full-Time position requiring availability Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm plus every other Saturday and is located in Virginia Beach, VA.

Job Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:

  Required: High school graduate or equivalent

  Required: 1+ years in materials associate (inventory, stocking, merchandising or logistics) experience
• 
  Preferred: Materials associate experience in a health care setting

Job Description Summary

The Supply chain associate is responsible for leading and managing inventory and logistics procedures, transforming and developing the inventory and logistics of Hospital Warehouse Docks. This includes supply inventory management, warehouse management, product receiving, shipping, record keeping, order fulfillment and materials transportation. The role will be responsible for managing supplies coming to the hospital, primarily in the warehouse. Goals could include building a competitive inventory and logistics infrastructure, optimizing logistics and record-keeping, facilitating cycle counts, measuring inventory, and ensuring continuous improvement. In addition, will be responsible for providing data and information to its superiors and to facilitate decision making with actual ground level information and insights on a periodic basis or ad-hoc, in accordance with Sentara Healthcare priorities.
