Greeting patients, preparing charts and paperwork for patients according to scheduled appointment, verifying and updating patients insurance and demographics, insurance eligibility, registering new patients, scheduling appointments, collecting copayments, processing referrals and prior authorizations, filing, scanning document into EMR system. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written utilizing EMR system with patients, families, staff, providers and other medical personal. Ability to multitask in high volume office setting and work independently. Superior customer service skills is essential. Past work experience of at least one to three years within a hospital, clinic/office environment, managed care organization or other health care setting. High School graduate or equivalent required.
