Westwood Greenhouses is Looking for Greenhouse Labourer Full Time

Westwood Greenhouses is a family run wholesale greenhouse that has been growing and selling high-quality vegetable plants and spring bedding plants.

The Opportunity

We are looking for energetic individuals to help with planting, shipping and care of seasonal plants in our greenhouses.

You must be reliable and able to work well with a team or on your own.

Candidates will be part of a team responsible for filling pots with soil, planting, bringing flats into greenhouses and other jobs as they arise in the greenhouse.

This is a fast-paced environment that has repetitive tasks, is physically demanding, needs high attention to detail, and requires standing for extended period, bending and kneeling.

You must have your own transportation as public transit is not available.

Typically work week is Monday-Friday 8-5 but longer days are possible. You must be able to work Saturdays if needed, Victoria Day weekend and longer hours during our peak periods.

The position will finish sometime the end of May-beginning of June weather and order pending.
