Position Description:
The flex role is an integral position in for our brewery success. As the delivery driver you will be responsible for delivering beer to local customers as well as picking up empty kegs and returning them to the brewery. On days that you’ll be packaging you will assist on the canning line, warehousing packaged product, cleaning kegs and helping with general brewery maintenance. You will receive full time hours, on-site training, and an incredible team to help you in your position!
Responsibilities:
· Ensure timely and safe delivery of finished goods to our customers at various locations in the lower mainland and pick up empty kegs
· Providing friendly and consistent customer service while at customer sites
· Count and record the amount of product that is been delivered and have customer sign invoice
· Record details of empty’s picked up from customers
· Maintain files, records and routines
· Clean the inside and outside of the truck weekly
· Report maintenance problems to the packaging manager
· Follow all safety regulations and precautions
· Packaging, organizing, and cleaning
Skills & Experience required:
· Must be able to lift up to 140lbs (50L kegs) routinely, using safe practices
· Must be able to repeatedly bend, twist, push, pull and lift. Must be able to stand for long periods of time while operating the canning line.
· Working knowledge of the rules and regulations involved in the safe and efficient operation of automotive equipment as well as basic maintenance procedures
· Ability to deal effectively and patiently with customers
· Ability to operate a truck, understand and follow oral and written instructions
· Experience in the operation of large vehicles; or an equivalent combination of experience and training
· Employee must possess a valid BC driver’s license and must be 19 years of age or older, with a clean driving record
