Carlton Farms Hiring for CDL Driver Class A – Local, Home Daily Full Time

Full Time Position-M-F 6:00 am to Finish (weekly overtime). As a Class A CDL Delivery Driver, you will be working both in our refrigerated warehouse and as a delivery driver.

Position is located in Carlton, Oregon.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL license
• Able to operate pallet jacks
• Have a clean appearance and interact with customers daily
• Follow DOT regulations
• Understand basic shipping, receiving, temperature and returned goods logs
• Good time management

Job Responsibilities:

• Load trucks and deliver fresh meat products to customers
• Establish positive working relationships with primary contact at each account
• Pull customer orders from a generated pick ticket
• Scan inventory of boxed products to the order
• Help organize coolers and freezers
• Verify shipments at plant and destination before delivery
• Familiar with daily vehicle inspections
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as cooperatively within a team
• Work with others in a fast-paced team environment
• Adhere to work and food safety policies set forth by the company and USDA
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of the department

Physical requirements / Working Conditions:

• Heavy lifting (capable of at least 60 lbs., and up to 100 lbs.)
• Long periods of walking, standing and sitting
• Work in a cold environment (~34˚ – 40˚ F) {Freezers/Refrigerators}
