As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for investigating, analyzing and correcting issues with supplier parts.

Quality Engineer Details:

• Contract position
• $20.00 to $40.00 /hour
• First Shift

• Align with supplier to review samples and provide line support while ing readiness for launch.
• Lead corrective action and root cause analysis by utilizing Conitinuous improvement techniques and proven problem solving methods.
• Support Production Operations regarding issues involving suppliers.
• Coordinate part sorting activities.
• Coordinate and initiate containment activities and provide feedback to suppliers.
• Initiate supplier notifications and provide documentation with problem solving ideas.
• Communicate and coordinate part quality and data.
• Coordinate and manage part campaigns.

Quality Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Supply Chain/Operations Management.
• 3 years’ experience in Quality Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Experienced in using hand held measuring tools.
• Ability to enforce basic requirements of quality systems within the automotive industry.
• Communication skills.
