Proofreading Manuscripts is Looking for Overnight English Essay Editor/Proofreader Full Time

Proofreading Manuscripts and its subsidiaries are searching for EXPERT English editors who have a high-level command of the English language. Please only apply if you are 100% confident in your English skills and can leave comments for clients regarding grammar issues.

We require on-demand editing of a variety of topics ranging from art, history, social sciences and humanities, to technical medical editing.

Editing is per-contract (you will receive details about each document and have the opportunity to accept or reject it, on a first come, first serve basis) and you will be working from your computer, at your leisure with specific deadlines.

You’re required to provide your own materials (computer, Microsoft Word etc).

We require that you have excellent command of English, and can edit the following:

Spelling, grammar, punctuation, flow, style, consistency, readability and have the ability to write helpful, relevant, and polite comments.

If you have previous editing experience, specifically editing technical journal articles or student papers, please specify that in your cover letter.

Please apply if you are currently located in BC, AL or SK and have late night availability (beyond 11pm your time).

A writing sample, editing sample and resume are recommended, but not required. We will test you.
