BHI Insurance Associates Hiring for Commercial Lines Account Manager Full Time

General Description: Responsible for the retention, servicing and management of assigned client accounts. Activities include, but not limited to new and renewal marketing, handling client questions and requests, policy verification and coverage review. NJ Property and Casualty license is required.

Responsibilities:

• All aspects of servicing assigned accounts. Able to work independently.
• Quoting and issuing new policies and processing endorsements.
• Handle all aspects of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Insurance. Handling requests for information, documents, and general insurance inquiries.
• Process renewal expirations, prevent lapse in client’s coverage, review coverages with client, recommend coverage. Work directly with client and producer for updated information.
• Work directly with various company underwriters.
• Prepare proposals and summaries of insurance, as needed.
• Knowledge of Epic is helpful but not required.
• Process claims taking the first and referring to the carrier.
• Special projects or duties, as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 1-3 years experience in Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance Agency along with a thorough understanding of all Property & Casualty insurance coverages, underwriting and rating concepts.
• Must hold state Property & Casualty insurance license

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy.

• Spanish speaking helpful, but not required

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
