True North Hostelling Association is Looking for Reservations Agent Full Time

Come work at the beach! Our Central Reservations office is attached to HI Vancouver Jericho Beach, a seasonal hostel, open from May to September, and located a few minutes away from beautiful parkland near forest trails and seaside paths on Vancouver’s Westside.

This office operates year-round, helping guests with reservations at hostels across the HI Canada Pacific Mountain Region. In particular, we handle reservations and guest communications by phone and email for the Wilderness hostels out in the Rockies. HI-CRS staff enjoy many of the same perks as the hostel staff, including the option of subsidized staff housing and summer hostel events.

What we look for

Our Reservations Agents are great communicators! They are comfortable speaking on the phone and writing emails, giving excellent information to guests and relaying questions that they can’t answer to someone who can. Fluency in French in particular, and additional languages is a plus. Reservations details must be entered correctly following specific procedures, so a keen eye for detail is a must. You’ll be using different reservation systems, so you’ll need to be comfortable and efficient on a computer.
