Kettering Koi & Ponds Limited Hiring for Packing Warehouse Assistant Full Time

We require a packing / storeroom assistant for either full time work (35 hours per week) or part time (at least 3 days/21 hours a week) in our Warehouse in Kettering (NN15 6NL).
Monday to Friday working day is 8.30am till 4pm with half an hour off for lunch and on Sundays we are open from 10am till 4pm.

Needs to be able to work every Sunday as this is our busiest day for packing up all weekend orders, but the other working days can be agreed between us.

Warehouse work will involve packing up goods for sending out, box shifting, shelf stacking, unloading deliveries and moving stock around, and assisting with goods inwards.

Packing work will involve all aspects of getting a parcel picked, packed and sent out to online customers. Some computer knowledge would be useful as we do use several computer programs, although on the job training will be given. Employee will shadow a member of staff until they learn the ropes/best packing procedures etc so work experience and specific skills are not required but we are looking for someone willing to learn, got a bit of common sense to be able to pick things up quickly, be enthusiastic about helping as part of a team and good at time keeping.

It is a very manual hands on job, required to be on your feet the best part of the day, and unloading large and heavy boxes occasionally.

We are a seasonal business with April to September being our busiest months hence we are looking for someone to fill a temporary position till end of September. However if we found the right employee we would consider a permanent position following on from September.
