Job description
Small growing accounting firm is looking for bookkeeper/admin assistant to join our team.
Must live in Ottawa or surrounding areas
Work done remotely, but will need to meet sometimes to gather files
As a bookkeeper will be responsible for data entries, various reconciliations, AP, AR, payroll etc and other bookkeeping duties for the clients of the firm. The duties will include HST, WSIB returns and source deductions.
As admin assistant you will be a liaison with all clients, answering all their admin and bookkeeping questions (via e-mail), draft /review and send communications, perform some research and suggest better systems, procedures to implement for the firm and clients of the firm and implementing these changes. Also you will be responsable to manage information flow between the firm and its clients. Some other admin assistant duties could be assigned as well.
Well organized, detailed oriented, responsible, quick learner
Quick Books Online and Quick Books desktop experience is a must.
Practical experience is required
