NAMA is Looking for E-commerce Bookeeper Full Time

NAMA, a clothing company, is seeking an experienced E-commerce Bookkeeper to manage our financial transactions and keep our accounting records up to date. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience working with e-commerce companies in Canada, and should have expert knowledge on using quickbooks to manage bookkeeping for companies using Shopify and multiple payment gateways. (PayPal, After pay etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records of all transactions in Quickbooks, including sales, expenses, and bank transactions
• Preparing monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Process payroll and file payroll taxes
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Generate financial reports and provide regular updates on the financial health of the business
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Work closely with our accountant to ensure accurate and timely tax filings
• Preparing HST/GST/QST/PST tax returns for all provinces as needed
• Collaborate with CEO to ensure smooth financial operations
• Keep up to date with new accounting and tax laws that may impact the business

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping for e-commerce companies
• Proficiency in Quickbooks and Shopify
• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial statements
• A high degree of accuracy and Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with Canadian GAAP experience is required
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-30 per week

Salary: $15.00-$23.00 per hour
