Premier Locates Inc. is Looking for Entry Level Utility Locate Technician Full Time

If you enjoy working outdoors, driving, meeting new people and working a 40-hour, 4-DAY work week, being a Utility Locate Technician at Premier Locates is for you. This is an entry level position and previous locate experience is not required as we have a comprehensive Utility Locate Technician (ULT) training program. The successful candidate will be required to travel to the Aurora area during a 4-month training period.

We are looking for individuals that have strong verbal and written communication skills, enjoy driving, travel and meeting new people. Candidates with previous excavation experience managing public and private locates are a definite asset. The successful candidate must be safety focused in all that they do and be willing to work with a team or individually. With over 30 years of experience in the utility locate business, Premier Locates Inc. provides accurate and reliable utility locate services for the utility and excavation industry. Everything we do revolves around safety and making sure everyone gets home safe at the end of the day. We are our clients Utility Damage Prevention Consultant, and our focus is or client’s and community’s safety.

​We understand that public and private utility locate requests can be challenging, however, we have streamlined our services to help our clients navigate the complex utility locate system. First and foremost, we find buried facilities, however, we help educate our clients to ensure that they know exactly what we do, as well as helping them understand their obligations and responsibilities when breaking ground. ​

Our expertly trained Utility Locate Techncians (ULT) use state of the art ground penetrating radar and electromagnetic locate equipment along with our locate management software to provide our clients with professional timely and accurate locates.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.50-$35.00 per hour
