An exciting opportunity has arisen within the National Finance and Administration department to join the National Business Coordination (NBC) team as an NBC Assistant.

A role in the NBC Team is a great opportunity to play a key part in shaping the future business and its ways of working.

As an NBC Assistant you will support the continuous improvement of the solutions being delivered with ///AHEAD, in particular the purchase to pay process and Ariba. You will work with representatives from across the business to simplify our purchasing of non-merchandise goods and services and support the development of Ariba. In partnership with our Key Users, you will suggest best practice and recommend system improvements or new functionalities to support the delivery of business benefits and alignment with our strategies.

A confident and resilient individual with great communication skills and a passion for change would be ideally suited to this opportunity. Previous experience in Ariba or other procurement solutions is not required.

Your new role

As part of this role your key responsibilities will include:

Subject matter expertise

• Identifies opportunities for improvements in Ariba processes and recommends new ones as required
• Support NBC with change management activities
• Provides expertise to the NBC team and collaborates closely with the wider business
• Works closely with Key Users to suggest best practice and improvements
• Supports end users with processes issues

Business Process Improvement

• Supports testing for Ariba
• Recommends improvements to purchasing processes
• Supports the creation of demands for changes to global template
• Attends national and international meetings to support new demand creation
• Creates training material and delivers training to end users
• Recommends and supports further projects in NBC team

Some travel (including international) may be also required.
