Job Responsibilities of the Emergency Medicine NP/PA

• Complete patient care in the ED, including treatment and referrals for treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and refer patients using available technologies, therapeutics and diagnostics common to the ED, such as lab tests, imaging, and electrocardiograms.
• May also perform procedures common to emergency medicine.

Minimum Job Requirements for the Emergency Medicine NP/PA

• Three (3) years of experience as an NP/PA in Emergency Medicine
• Prescriptive Authority
• BLS, ACLS, and ATLS Certification
• Vaccination
