Sound Around/Pyle is looking for a Director of Marketing who will be in charge of leading the consumer electronics company’s marketing efforts. As a successful hire, you will be responsible for providing oversight to our marketing department by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for all of our company’s brands.

This is an in office position located in Brooklyn, NY.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Develops and executes a centralized digital and print marketing plan in collaboration with senior management team
Oversees the company’s digital marketing assets and channels (websites, online marketplaces, SEM and SEO, emails, and social media accounts) to ensure branding and message consistency
Collaborates with Sales, Marketing and eCommerce staff to develop and deliver relevant content aimed at attracting customers to the company’s website and social medial platforms
Manages the company’s digital content calendar and strategy
Oversees media vendors and consultants (SEO vendors, analytics consultants, etc.), ensuring that they deliver contracted results in alignment with established scope, budget, and timelines
Manages internet reputation on customer feedback platforms, managing company responses when needed.
Work with SEO vendor to continually revise and refresh content to improve SEO placement and google analytics
Manages PPC campaigns on various platforms and s on KPIs and ROIs
Serves as the company’s subject matter expert on digital marketing, branding, social media, digital analytics, and web content development
Works closely with the Product Developer and E-commerce Manager to manage branding consistency across digital marketing, eCommerce listings, physical packaging, promotional pieces, and other various graphic design projects.
Performs other related duties as assigned
Education and Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Information Technology, or closely related field preferred but not required
Five or more years of experience as a Digital Marketing professional
Five years of experience developing and implementing marketing strategies
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with online marketing tools and best practices
Two or more years of hands-on experience with PPC and Google Analytics
Basic knowledge of web design and administration
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Social media strategy, management and tracking experience
Ability to multitask and be accountable in an exceptionally fast-moving environment with multiple brands under one roof
Knowledge of the consumer electronics and prosumer audio industries is preferred but not required
Compensation: Competitive Base Salary commensurate with experience, plus bonus
