Role: Planning Administrator

Location: Fully remote (UK based)

Salary: Up to £25,000 dependent upon experience

Hours- Mon-Fri – Full or part time flexibility available

Role overview:

My client supports Telecoms providers with planning application across the UK. The Team is fully remote based but have structured process and comms channels in place to ensure fully effective and inclusive. They operate in a fast paced and dynamic sector, which continuously strives to evolve and upgrade its reach to its customer base.

Due to growth of business and continued increase in workload, a new role has been created to support Planning Team with the processing of client applications. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who has an estates/planning background or the desire to pursue /continue a career in the sector with additional flexibility for the role to be either full or part time hours- appealing to a wide potential candidate audience.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting planning applications for both new and existing sites on behalf of telecoms providers. These can vary in complexity and include renewals, upgrades through to new site applications.
• Manage both internal and external stakeholder engagement and enquiries mainly by email, participating in Teams calls/meetings as required
• Responding to general enquires and emails ensuring inbox monitored effectively and relevant colleagues notified
• Setting up of planning applications in variety of portals/ on-line application mediums
• Completing research and collating documentation / information to enable to submission of planning applications.
• General administration as required to support wider business.

Key qualities & experience required include:

• Confident IT skills and competent level of Microsoft packages, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Planning portals will vary but core functions will be similar
• Experience of providing administration support within a service-led environment
• Demonstrate a high level of diligence.
• Effective communications skills across all mediums
• Solutions focused- ability to identify potential risks/barriers or issues and highlight solutions for consideration
• Work at a high pace level managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience of working in a structured process driven environment
• Maintain a professional manner and approach at all times.
• Ability to plan & manage time effectively to achieve deadlines.

Training will be induction based and on the job. Laptop and support to ensure home office set up appropriately to be provided.
