Job Title: Executive Director

Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000

We are seeking a new Executive Director for our organization in the St. Michael area! Lucky Pets is a full-service pet retail store and service provider, passionate about wanting pets to live happy and healthy lives. We can meet a pet owner’s every need through our Retail Store, Day Care, Boarding, Grooming, and Training services. We’re an independently-owned business, proud to be serving the St. Michael-Albertville area and surrounding communities.

Executive Director Responsibilities:

• Direct the day-to-day operations for the retail pet store and dog daycare
• Oversee teams for boarding, grooming, and training services
• Interview, hire, and develop staff for all departments
• Manage inventory and strive for profitability for the retail store
• Create and implement brand-building and business-building strategies
• Build an “Above and beyond” customer-service culture
• Administrative duties such as scheduling, budgeting, and record keeping

Executive Director Qualifications:

• Experience leading teams in a retail or pet care environment
• Degree in Animal Science, Business Administration, or related field is ideal
• Passion for working with Pets and Pet Owners
• Working knowledge of common Pet care, products, and grooming methods
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Willingness to work varying hours; including evenings, weekends, or holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
